The QiYi Clock is a magnetic clock by famous speedcube manufacturer QiYi MoFangGe. This exquisite new clock is fully magnetic, featuring 204 small magnets embedded in the gears and 4 large magnets inside the pins. The exterior of this new clock is designed using intricate inlays instead of traditional printing. For the user’s comfort, QiYi rounded the wheels of the clock to be easily usable without scraping the fingers. Fascinatingly, the QiYi Clock can be tensioned by adjusting its four screws. The QiYi Clock can also be easily opened for lubrication and maintenance.
This is the 2024 Limited Edition version. Only 2000 were made in total. QiYi has made the following upgrades based on the old version:
- Boosting the magnetic force at the center dial, while dialing down the magnetic force at the edges assists the magnetic positioning on corner dials.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

To preface, I'm not the best clock solver in the world (I average around 11 seconds with beginner's method). However, clock is an event I want to get really good at.
This clock out of the box is nearly unusable. It's extremely stiff and dry, so I immediately opened mine up to lube it with some Mystic, as I did my regular QiYi clock. I did some solves, and it didn't feel much better. After looking around online, it appeared that the center magnets were much stronger than the edge magnets, and there's a center magnet mod where you push in the center magnets to make them weaker. Doing this immediately increased performance twofold. As it stands, it's not as fast turning as my other clock (which has been broken in over hundreds of solves), but credit where credit is due, this clock is more controllable. I'm sure after I break it in with an ao100 or two, it will get faster.
The inserts are a cool novelty, but I think the clock looks the best by far without any inserts. I am going to main this clock during competition in two weeks, so we'll see what happens there.
After lubrication and the center magnet mod, I do really like this clock. It looks phenomenal, and I seem to have gotten a fairly low number for my clock (I got no. 71/2000, which is really neat). My other clock is really easy to turn, but it does border on "uncontrollable." The pins on this clock are firmer than my other one, which makes accidental pin pushing harder (a good thing for me!). Eager to see what my ao100 is with this clock.
Serious clock solvers will need to check this one out!
This clock is amazing. It feels different from the normal QiYi clock. The buttons are more tactile and stable. The old QiYi clock buttons would move on their own if the clock was jolted or shaken. this new QiYi clock LE does not move the buttons even if you shake it. I show this in the video. The dials feel different too. The clocks have a more tactile click, and feel more connected. the old QiYi clock was very clanky and rattly. This one feels very stable and does not rattle at all (I also show this in the video). performance wise, this clock is much more controllable and stable but slower. The clock is also quieter. to me the turning feel is more plush and soft compared to the old QiYi clock. It kind of feels like an X-Man cube that hasn't been broken-in.
The clock comes with more accessories as well. It additionally comes with a card, an acrylic figure, and 4 extra inserts for the clock if you want to reskin it. (see photo)
